FACTORS AFFECTING THE CASE 7I APPROACH
 
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is one of the most fundamental elements of working life, an important issue in the whole World, which concerns all employees. The lack of a healthy and safe working environment for all employees is one of the most important problems of working life today. In business life, solutions should be produced and implemented depending on the intensity of the problems and social reactions However, despite all the efforts and various measures taken in the world and in our country, work accidents and occupational diseases continue to take lives or leaving people crippled. The mortality ratio to number of employees varies inversely with the degree of development of the countries. It is crucial to carry out scientific analysis and to evaluate outcomes.. The factors effecting the accident, in other words the causes of accidents, have been the subject of different academic studies so far. As a matter of fact, it has always been one of the primary objectives of all societies to identify the causes of accidents and find solutions to eliminate the causes. It can be stated that using striking themes and approaches such as ‘’ zero work accident’’ or ‘’accident should not be our fate’’ have become the basis in countries that accidents are an epidemiological problem, in minimizing accidents and creating a healthier and more reliable working life in terms of occupational health and safety. In this study, various accident-causing approaches and factors effecting the accidents are examined, and in addition to existing approaches, 7 I approach is introduced.
